Burlington Township

Located on the Northern edge of Licking County, Ohio. The township has a rural charm with mostly farm landscapes on 28.575 township roads. The 2020 census showed a population of 1209 people.

Burlington Township is governed by three elected Trustees. The elected Fiscal Officer is responsible for Township accounting transactions and financials. Two of the elected officials are elected every other year by you, the citizens of Burlington Township.

The Board of Trustees hire a Zoning Inspector, Road Maintenance and Cemetery staff. The Board also appoints five Zoning Commission and five Zoning Appels members.

Trustee Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 8:00 p.m. at the Homer Library Annex Building 385 South Street, Utica Ohio 43080

Community Services: safety, security and quality of life, Burlington Township lies within the Northridge Local District. Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are provided by the Homer Fire District and Licking County Sheriff Office provides law enforcement coverage, Waste Management has the current contract for trash removal.
